SPCC steel is commercial-grade cold-rolled steel as defined in the Japanese manufacturing standard JIS G 3141. It is equivalent to the Q195 and Q215A grades in China. SPHC steel is a kind of hot-rolled steel of commercial quality. The following are its mechanical properties.

The tensile strength should be at least 270 N/mm ² (megapascals); The yield strength is ≤240 N/mm ² (megapascals).

COMMON STEEL GRADES

DC01 (Tensile strength 270-410 MPa) - This grade can be used for simple forming processes, such as bending, embossing, flanging and stretching.

Manufacturing process of cold-rolled steel coils

The production process of cold-rolled coil varies slightly depending on the raw materials and the types and specifications of the products. The following is the manufacturing process of cold-rolled steel.

Raw materials (hot-rolled steel)- Pickling - cold rolling - degreasing - Annealing - coiling - packaging

1. Pickling. Hot-rolled coils pass through the pickling line, and the surface oxide scale is removed by using hydrochloric acid solution. Through the pickling process, fewer surface defects will be left.

2. Cold rolling. The pickled coil is rolled into the specified thickness in the cold rolling mill.

3. Annealing. After the lubricating oil and contaminants are removed through electrolytic cleaning, the coil will undergo a continuous annealing process. Its purpose is to manufacture steel with high tensile strength.

4. Roll them up and then package them for sale.
